One of our children, Tillie is donating hair for her 11th birthday. Instead of a day out/ birthday party and presents she wants to donate her long blonde hair to help a child in need.
The Little Princess Trust provides free real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions, and also fund childhood cancer research into finding kinder and more effective treatments.
They currently supply around 2,000 wigs every year and so The Little Princess Trust needs financial donations, as well as hair donations, for its free wig provision service. They also fund childhood cancer research and, since 2016, have supported 128 projects searching for kinder and more effective treatments. This all means that every pound raised helps give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer.
