The boys football team played our last game of the season on Thursday 27th February against Loxdale. It started off well as we were having back to back free kicks in the first half, Ellis managed to get a corner and crossed it in to Veer, who scored our first goal of the game. Then not long after Rocco managed to break free just before half time and scored a wonderful goal. Straight after half time Loxdale stepped up their game and scored two goals right after each other. Lanesfield fought back and kept testing the keeper until Rocco took a free kick and curled it into the bottom corner. After that, Ellis won another free kick and it landed at Kikun’s feet and he volleyed it bottom corner in the last minute, making the final score 4 -2 to Lanesfield. With that win it has placed them second in the league table.
